The area
Downtown is the city's working centre: Sam Sharpe Square, St. James Street, the craft market, the banks and the transport centre. It is where Montego Bay does its business, loudly, from early.
Catherine Hall sits just inland — housing, the sports complex and the hospital — and is where a lot of the people who run downtown actually live.
Property here is practical rather than scenic: you are in the middle of everything, and you hear all of it.
